maximum learning.
At the end of our 5-day course you will walk away with two distinct
certifications qualifying you as either a Cisco WLAN Design or Cisco
WLAN Support Specialist, as well as a vendor neutral Certified Wireless
Professional (CWP).
Cisco Wireless LAN Design or LAN Support Specialist:
The Cisco portion of our dual certification course focuses on
understanding radio technologies associated with WLAN 802.11 standards,
WLAN and bridge topologies and applications. You will also learn how to
configure WLAN products including access points, bridges, client devices
and accessories, and explain Aironet software and management features.
Candidates will not only learn various ways to configure security
methods for WLAN environments, but will also understand basic antenna
theory, how to perform a site survey covering WLAN topology and design,
vertical market deployment and challenges including equipment utility
and cable awareness.
On the fourth day of the course you will be qualified to either take
the Cisco Wireless LAN for System Engineers WLANSE (Exam 9E0-576) or the
Cisco Wireless LAN for Field Engineers WLANFE (Exam 9E0-581) exam based
on your demands.
Certified Wireless LAN Professional (CWP):
Developed by industry expert Todd Lammle, the CWP is the leading
neutral vendor certification focused on advanced wireless security, and
advanced wireless troubleshooting.
Successful CWP candidates will learn how to administer, integrate,
secure and troubleshoot different manufacturers' WLAN equipments. This
certification can increase your value by complimenting your Microsoft or
Cisco skill set with proven advanced expertise in securing wireless
networks.
On the fifth day of class you will be qualified to take the Certified
Wireless Professional written exam. This exam consists of 70 questions.
